Hi there:
I am a girl who is a woman and a woman who says she's a girl. I love to write, talk, listen and I enjoy the company of others. Previously I have written short stories, children's books and currently writing a comedy based on self-help. Instead of writing about what I have done in my past I want to focus on the NOW! With the NOW being the precious present.
My issue is more about spending the money on it. Reading it and/or commenting is one thing. Buying it just seems like a waste of money that can be put to better use. That's all.
Huh? Is it just me or is Brooke having a tough time aging. I recently heard her talk about Hollywood and how she hates getting older. Hey it's what you make of it Brooke. For the record I don't believe if you had sex earlier it would have controlled your weight. If anything, it may have made you more insecure, even "the pill" taken by some can create a 10-15 lb weight gain. Love you Brooke but you may want to go back into counseling.
I had to stop watching the first couple of weeks of each season because it was just too much watching some of America's hopeful's try and belt out a tune. It's pretty bad when my dog howling sounds better. Funny thing, we got tickets two years ago to watch a taping. Does anyone realize the place where it's filmed only held 125 people? It was disappointing to walk in and expect this huge Oscar Auditorium and realize the elementary school next door holds a larger capacity. Apparently when it gets down to the last 3 they bump up the action and move to a huge arena. Nonetheless there is something about American Idol that I am sure in years to come will be watched again.
I believe Facebook is the new social site for many reasons. It is geared for not only a younger crowd but for all ages. I was surprised to find many connections from not only high school but from past employment. It has many ways to connect with groups, events and finding distant relatives. I found a group connected with my maiden name which put me in touch with over 10 cousins from my fathers side of the family. My father passed away last year and living in California I had no idea there were so many cousins in Illinois and Kentucky. It's a great way to reconnect.
I Loved Barbie as a girl and I still love her as a woman. My aunt gave me the dark haired barbie when I was little and I had her in a box until I was 21.
As I got older the only thing I didn't understand is how Barbie knew about plastic surgery way before plastic surgery was thought about????
