Sonia M. Rosen lives in Philadelphia, PA, where she is completing a Ph.D. in Education at the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education with a dissertation focused on youth activism and activist identity. She has taught in public middle and high schools in Philadelphia and New York City, as well as the university level. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors of Playgrounds for Palestine (www.playgroundsforpalestine.org) and is editor of the Penn GSE Perspectives on Urban Education Journal (www.urbanedjournal.org).
