That's absurd. I mean why do people have the urge to kill their fellow citizens because they don't like certain things? We're all individuals and have the right to live. No one has that right to take it away. We need to join together as human beings and individuals and fight for our right to live.

That's true but female performers do get away with such performances more.No one makes a big deal when Madonna kisses another female or parades half naked across the stage or grinds with her dancers. She has done far worse in her day and to cancel his appearances on abc programs is absurd.

It's good to know we can see his talent one more time on the big screen. He was an amazing actor and as for the three actors who took his place, it's very generous of them to donate their money to Matilda. I'm sure she knows how much her daddy loved her.

Thanks everyone for the comments. My theory is, if people were scared by this movie they (A) don't know much about paranormal activity (B)become so mentally involved in the movie that you're not thinking about how not scary it is. When I watch other movies in the thriller/horror genre, I know I'm scared because I become so mentally involved that I'm not thinking about how fake it is. I'm actually thinking more about the characters and the story line in which I feel I'm part of the movie. People do that with every movie they watch however if you are aware of certain aspects of the topic at hand you are less likely to find it scary because you know the reality than what they are trying to portray.

See? It's inhuman. I mean don't have unprotected sex then. Do not punish the unborn baby. People are not logical these days. We are all guilty of it. It's sad, really it is.

no no, I see big differences between Hitch and this film it is more so based off of the profession of Steve Ward and Tough Love. That's what it distinctly reminds me of

but our world is like that, no one takes anything seriously until something tragic happens, sadly this is what will end us all
  • Posted By songbird1018 songbird1018 | 4 months ago
No it was released in 2007. Not very popular but it is not that bad of a film.
  • Posted By songbird1018 songbird1018 | 4 months ago
I agree. Without the story though it makes the movie look like a project for an amateur film class. very disappointing

I'm glad you guys are satisfied with it. I'm really picky and it just didn't do it for me. My fave is still Order of the Phoenix.

I don't think it was a camera trick at all. it's just a mistaken identification on what it actually is.
  • Posted By songbird1018 songbird1018 | 4 months ago
Actually if you look closely, it is a shadow and bends toward the bottom as if someone walked by the window. It's no ghost, it's someone's shadow.

My mom had that happen on her electric bill and they told her it had to do with oil because I spoke with them myself. But the thing is no one, not one of those companies will work with you they are all about the money when there are so many of us struggling during these times. It's either don't eat and pay the bill or don't pay the bill and eat.

Fauzia, that is horrible. They are passing judgement and carrying out the sentence they see fit. I'm not familar with Pakistan laws but was that legal at any time? I mean, to punish people for getting married. That's insane and unheard of. Do you know if they caught them yet?
  • Posted By songbird1018 songbird1018 | 4 months ago
That is just brillant! I'm surprised authorities don't adapt that in every state!
  • Posted By songbird1018 songbird1018 | 4 months ago
Yes it does. It's really sad. I mean I can see how it was funny at one time but now that someone did fall in for real, it makes it more sensitive

I know and the sad thing is that the passengers have no control. The only control they have is to say no before they get in the car but how could they possibly know what is going to happen? Praise God that you have not received that phone call. I always go the speed limit and if I do speed, it's only 5 miles above but I'm always in control of my car because I get paranoid about putting others in danger. I just pray that others use the same practice.

So have I. I have a cousin and a friend who is gay. They are no different and that's the problem with our world. Michael Jackson was a prime example of what to do. He provided understanding when there was none and broke barriers. Just because we're not celebrities doesn't mean we can't do the same and I fully intend on doing so.

I completely agree firesisle and I'm a Democrat. LOL But you see, society has drawn these lines and so have most Christians do the same. They condemn those who are different from themselves and it sends the wrong message about God. I am an open minded Christian. I try my best not to judge yet I know even I'm guilty of it. Another thing that Christians fail to realize is that God gave us the gift of choice. What people are doing to each other and discriminating against each other in such way as well as other ways, is NOT God's way. I will fight for those whom wrong is being done to. I have experienced first hand prejudice, arrogance and discrimination. And I do not feel it is an issue for debate. There are other matters to resolve in this country and same-sex marriages is not one of them. We should all have the same rights. That is the definition of America and it is what God has given us. He has given us gifts that we abuse, not use. No matter what political party we label ourselves apart of, we have similar beliefs and together we must stand if we want our country to be as our founding fathers intended, as God has intended.
