Thanks Billie..yeah..you bet. I updated the report as I was a day off on the event. Mind you..they are meeting with Hilary for dinner as we speak! Just like I'm "on board" the trian to seek the Nobel Peace Prize for Pete Seeger...I am also hoping to start/push for a Literature nomination for the Boss! Why not...he writes the American story so well.

Jeez... I wish these allvoices pics to the left would actually put the pictures of the people you mention in the story up. I didn't relaize Springsteen was a woman! And where did I mention Hilary Duff! :-)

Good idea! One time I applied for a grant to create the same kind of busmobile project to visit Native reserves to instill pride and celebration of their culture. Woulda been cool..touring around with a drum & dance troupe in a bus filled up with indigenous lit!

Thanks Billie! This IS a backward step. There was a time under the Liberal Trudeau years when you were allowed possesion of up to 6 plants!
We are going regressive these days. They think that this kind of legislation deters people from using the plant..when all it does is drive growers into profit. If they raise the penalty for growing it to the simple user..it will force them out of fear to buy elsewhere..like the gangs! Goofy friggin' legislation. These people are beyond reactionary...they are Osteriches..their heads stuck in the sand (or worse places!!) :-)
