    Pak-Afghan mini-jirga has started in Islamabad here on monday in Islamabad.

    Jirga which will be continued for two days will discuss ,how to combat terrorism ,bring Taliban for peace talks and to restore the law and order situation in both the countries. They will also review some of the suggessions for restoring peace in the area.

    25 members of N.W.F.P Jirga commission are also particiating is this jirga in the leadership of Governor N.W.F.P Awais Muhammad Ghani.

    Abdullah abdullah (Former foreign minister of Afhanistan) is also leading his 25 members delegation in this Jirga.

    While addressing the Jirga members Pakistan Foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qasuri said that the doors of Peace talks should not be closed for those who really want to leave the way of violence and adopt a peaceful way.

    He expressed hope by adding that these kinds of Jirga will bring peace and prosperity in both sides of Pakistan and Afghanistan. he said that like the suggested Gas Pipe Project the people of both the countries will come close who will take economical advantage of this project which will cause their great pleasure.

    Abdullah abdullah while expressing his views said that we are ready to hold talks with those who respect the law and constitution of Afghanistan and who believe on the concept of no-violence.

    Governor N.W.F.P Awais Muhammad Ghani while addressing the jirga participants said that it was an old tradition of both the countries to resolve their problems through jirga. there is no alternative except...
