Roseann Cima is a Stanford graduate, Class of 2011, with a degree in Symbolic Systems with a concentration in Human Computer Interaction. She contributed to the Stanford Daily over the course of her undergraduate career, and wrote as a weekly columnist for a few quarters. She also worked in advertising for the Stanford Daily, designing graphics for print and web. She helped found the Stanford Design Initiative, a community-building and skill-sharing student-group, for which she still blogs. She also freelances as a photographer. She has a keen interest in computational and digital journalism. This past summer she interned with Stanford's Spatial History Project, designing data visualizations. She is currently pursuing her M.A. in Journalism at Stanford
