MoreZelaya has taken off for Honduras with another plane trailing behind that is supposed to wait and see what happens with Zelaya's plane before it decides where to land. An earlier report said the second plane would land in El Salvador.
The plane will not be given permission to land. I do not see how the police could stop the plane from landing unless they are going to park police cars on the runway! There are still prominent people on the plane with Zelaya so if the Honduran government uses force and some of them are killed or wounded there could be disastrous consequences for everyone.

"The government of President (Roberto) Micheletti has ordered the armed forces and the police not to allow the entrance of any plane bringing the former leader," the foreign minister of the interim government, Enrique Ortez, told The Associated Press on Sunday.
Flying with Zelaya were close advisers and staff, two journalists from the Venezuela-based network Telesur, and U.N. General Assembly President Miguel D'Escoto Brockmann, a leftist Nicaraguan priest and former foreign minister who personally condemned Zelaya's ouster as a coup d'etat.
The coup in Honduras has now completed the overthrow of the elected president and installed a new president. The leaders claim to have a letter of resignation from Zelaya and so they duly installed a new president even though Zelaya claims from Costa Rica that he is still president in a telelphone conversation with CNN. The events are live blogged at Daily Kos.
2:23 p.m. It's official. The congressional decree passed "unanimously" to accept the president's "resignation" (which didn't really happen), remove him from office for crimes against the constitution and install Roberto Micheletti as president. The country is on "Cadena Nacional" which is like our Emergency Broadcast System, meaning all television and radio stations have to broadcast the government's signal.
