I have over 10 years of journalism experience, including two and a half years as the managing editor of a weekly community newspaper. I have been working for a bank for nearly two and a half years. My biggest passions are sports (especially the NFL) and music (in particular, Stevie Nicks). I also have a strong passion for equality, having written about gay rights including marriage equality, women's rights and race issues. I also have an interest in politics, although not enough of one to want to run for elected office! I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, where I served as managing editor of The ECLIPSE, then a bi-weekly student newsmagazine. I also served as a writer and editor at The Diamondback, where I wrote a column entitled Let The Reader Beware. This space is essentially a continuation of that column.
