Dear Mllovric, Thanks for the comment. Men do whatever they like. I am sure 100 percent of men have affairs before and after marriage. Still they expect women to be virgins. Extra marital relationships are also common for men. But women should not have them. The poor girl was killed. If only the police were in time, they could have saved her life. Dear Cherry,
The article is good. However, as you have asked for a suggestion, as a journalist, I have some points to make. Whether the Priest choses priesthood or politics is upto him. AS a reporter you have the option of placing the facts before your reader and discussing the possibilities. Let him decide what is right to him and let the people decide what is good for them and their country.
The story is very loose. I do not know if you are working in a news paper. No one has the patience to read long stories. As you might have observed, most people read the head line and the first few paragraphs of a news story. No one has the time or patience to go through a story from beginning to end. Such being the position, when you report, you must think of the reader who skips the page after reading the first few paragraphs. What you want to present should be in those first few pargraphs. Right? In your story you have repeated several things. This is to be avoided, if your story is to be crism and readable.
As I understand, your story is this. This priest wants to run for the Presidential election, which is against the tennets of the religion. Some of his colleagues are telling him to forget about politics and return to priesthood after completing the gubernatorial assignent. He however wants to contest.
