A committee will be established at the government school level comprising of representatives of the parent teacher association, samaa and the federal department of education. This committee will liaison with the journalist network for dissemination of news and other coverages required.All citizens will have access to contact the representatives for reporting on their issues....furthermore awareness activities on issues will be held to promote the issues and create platforms for the communities.

This initiative is one part of the larger citizen journalism programme, which SAMAA TV has launched in Pakistan. We are working with various stakeholders, incl. Government and communities and have developed and will continue to develop opportunities through which the general public can be engaged and report on their own issues. SAMAA TV website has also launched I-SAMAA which is a direct access to upload reports, pictures and stories relevant to their communities and society. Through this, we have achieved a direct information flow as well as empowered the local citizen to take ownership of the positive development of its community.
