I kind of agree with actor Martin Sheen when he said "Thank God for Obama.". Im more interested in the people he has around him in Office? The advisors and the lobbyists will eventually set the standard for USA these coming years. If Mr Obama surrounds himself with excellent and trustworthy advisors , then we can look forward to the future but if they all are corrupt and not really interested in anything but an agenda that can be known only to those that are behind the scenes in Washington, then I guess it wont matter if Obama is a smart and peaceful man. It all "boils down to" who you surround yourself with. I hope he is smart enough to choose wisely and not be a puppet for forces that we "normal" people dont know of.. debi

As always one is amazed when seeing how the talibans behave towards human beings and out of pure indifference, rage, terror and everything but ignorance. They are smart as they feed on peoples anti american feelings and thrive on the rise of feelings for the islamic religion in some areas and societys.. If they were only rural, ignorant men one would have understood why they behave like they do but they arent! Its like many say in the press: "back to the cave days, stone age era:" i hope that the pakistani army and leaders will succeed in the forecoming military plan.. God bless also Pakistan, because whatever happens there affects India and the world in the future. debi

I sat glued to net the other day and watched american troops, special troops and green berets amongst others, on duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. I lost track of time while watching how they had to be totally face to face with death every day and accepting that eventually they might die or loose a limb or two. It hit me how war really changes both the people that are civilians and victims without having a say and the soldiers that we call heroes are forced to turn into machines and control themselves so that they wont kill every iraqi they suspect might be dangerous and and so that they might show civilians respect in order to not create hatred towards USA. Like a fellow Swede wrote " Am i a Man or a beast?".. Im actually grateful towards USA for at least trying to fight off terrorism but I also pity those that turn into "machines" and "beasts"..

:) looks like the peacock is proud of being totally white and totally peacock. makes you smile looking at him/her. Dreamt of peacocks tonight but they were dressed in their usual colors and they preferred to hang around a place that was all dressed in beautiful shades of blue and green. Their sound are one of the sounds of India..

Its funny how vibrant and alive I would feel if I walked through that pic. The red of the leaves and even the orange of the fallen ones would probably give me that sensation you get from watchin a fire, "Im alive"! And I havent met many men that out of their own free will would wear pink.. Dont know why ? Ill watch the colors of spring as they reach Sweden.
