dear aarana, very nice, timely and informative report. I think we have improved a bit and our institutions are working in the right direction, though we all know that corruption and corrupt practices are rampant in society.
I hope organised corruption ends in the world and there is more fairness and equity in societies.
Democracy is good but high cost of fighting elections encourages corruption at the top level or simply in the higher echelons of power.
dear sister, thank you for this very important information on severe weather predictions in AP. I was thinking that the temperature you quoted 79 degree/ 72 degree is too high...almost near to boiling point. I hope I am wrong but here we are used to degrees in Fahrenheit and I assume you are using the same scale. I also thank dear friend aarana for the images. thx. cj
aarana! thanks for the links. Now I understand that this is a team sport requiring 11 players on each side. Now I dont' know whether there is any age limit as in other sports. I thik if one player plays for around 20 years than what about young and emerging talent? Do young players also get a chance to play in this sport? I think it is criminal if one person is persisted in a team sport for so long, thus limiting the induction of fresh new talent into the team. Can you tell me when is the last time India won the World Cup? I think way back in 1983 under the leadership of Kapil Dev. It is high time the Indian public must ask the BCCI and the team to deliver. Players are treated as Demi God but look at Australia they have won the title 4 times and still continue to win more matches than any cricket playing nation. Influence of money power must be limited as in all sport and the emphasis will be on to win matches for the country.
aarana! I think cricket is very popular in India but can you be so kind to tell me and @yuyun about how this game is played. You only said that there are, '11 players of one team and two opponent team on ground'....., so what they do on field? I mean how they play? Is it like American baseball game? please tell us in detail. thanks your's sincerely, cj
dear sonaliben, thank you for posting this news+ article+image of AYYAPPA Ji. I dont' know anything about him? Was he or she? I mean male or female? Why people burn themselves and why there is no police case when people burn themselves? Can you be so kind to tell me the philosophy of AYYAPPA Ji. I mean why he/ she is important in Hindu religion. Will appreciate your further inputs. thanks and kind regards, cj
