One of the founders of the pioneering internet journal Bad Subjects: Political Education for Everyday Life, I have been publishing pieces on politics and culture for over fifteen years. I have also written for New Times, The San Francisco Bay Guardian, Punk Planet, and Tikkun, where I also served as Music Editor.
When I'm not writing, I teach literature, film and New Media. Currently, I am based in Tucson, Arizona, a city which, because of its proximity to the United States's border with Mexico, provides insight into issues such as immigration and development.
