Ah yes, its a beautiful thing when politics and technology come together, Obama uses twitter and text messaging to announce his running mate direct to the public, John McCain not knowing how to use e-mail and now the newest player in the U.S. elections, the first ever ViLF as some forum posters like to refer to her, is getting into the tech world. But, as most of us know as good as the internet is for us, it can also do some pretty bad things. Just recently Palin came under fire for using a Yahoo! e-mail to conduct government business, critics allege that she uses the account to get around public records laws, as the Bush administration has also been charged with doing. and sure enough just a couple of days when the news hit the fans, her account got hacked. The hacker got access to Palin’s account last Tuesday and posted screenshots and emails in wikileaks. The e-mail addresses have since been deleted. At first it was believed that this was a professional job, that a group of 1337 hackers target the VP candidate’s e-mail. However, recent reports and further analysis of the screenshots show that the hacker could’ve done a better job to cover his trails. The hacker used a proxy service, which is the right thing to do, called Ctunnel.com to hide his IP address, this is all well and good but the hacker forgot to remove his browser’s address bar when he posted the screenshots on...

Its the 25th MTV Video Music Awards held at the Paramount studios in Hollywood. Right off the bat I had a feeling that this would be a toned down VMA, at least compared to last years extravaganza. The Main stage wasnt even designed that well and it really wasnt that impressive. Russell Brand is this year’s host and frankly the more I watch these award shows the more I feel sorry for the hosts. If you try to be your unique and crazy self, you dont get a lot of cheers from the celebs and if you try to go for that crowd’s laugh you get ripped by the online community. Its like you have to choose, would you be John Stewart or Steve Martin. Well anyways I still think Russell did a good job hosting, getting a good amount of laughs considering he’s taking his London comedy to a foreign land. One thing I didn’t like was they made him keep saying “oh what a wonderful show its been so far” everytime he had to do his bit. Man, that -ish was annoying, as if that was gonna save the dull parts of the show. Now for my “what ups”…….. whats up with Ciara’s hair whats up with Rihanna’s hair whats up with Lindsay Lohan’s hair whats up with Bill Kaulitz looking more like Bjork everyday whats up with Jordin Sparks getting pissed off at the virginity jokes whats up with the Jonas brothers - every single year theres...

I slept at 4am today playing DoTa, then for some reason i still woke up at 9 am on a Sunday. I thought “hmm, there must be something important that I had to do.” And then it hit me.. SPORE LAUNCH @ Funan Mall!! I wasnt in a hurry, afterall the launch wasnt until 12 pm so I arrived at Funan at exactly 10:30 thinking that I’d be the first in line looking all geeky and excited to get my freebies. And then this is what I saw… And then I said the gamers prayer.. “OMFG, I hope Im still part of the first 200 buyers to get extra swag.” So I went in line just playing PSP and listening to music to help pass the time when I noticed that everyone in queue had one thing I didn’t, they all pre-ordered the game! So I was like, ” nah, I’m sure I can buy at the booth.” So I waited a little longer and when the booth was finally in sight, just when I can breath in the smell of newly packaged games I saw that there was only a redemption booth, and that there was a separate line for those that didnt pre-order. After that I bowed my head, not in a cool way like batman does, more like when Krusty the Clown after a bad show. I almost wanted to go home, but no I was already there and nothing was gonna stop me from creating my...

If you’ve got 300 millis to spend on getting you’re image back in shape, then you must be Microsoft. I’ve been waiting to see these commercials since I found out that Jerry Seinfeld gets 10 million off of this deal. And here it is, its not much, and it isnt really that funny.. but I think thats not their goal here. This ad just wants to introduce Bill and Jerry as characters in this long line of commercials so it just tries to be cute and charming. And as much as possible distance itself from the aggressive Mac ads. Well, I’m looking forward to the next episodes.

9/01/2008 02:10:00 PM At Google, we have a saying: "launch early and iterate." While this approach is usually limited to our engineers, it apparently applies to our mailroom as well! As you may have read in the blogosphere, we hit “send” a bit early on a comic book introducing our new open source browser, Google Chrome. As we believe in access to information for everyone, we’ve now made the comic publicly available — you can find it here . We will be launching the beta version of Google Chrome tomorrow in more than 100 countries. So why are we launching Google Chrome? Because we believe we can add value for users and, at the same time, help drive innovation on the web. All of us at Google spend much of our time working inside a browser. We search, chat, email and collaborate in a browser. And in our spare time, we shop, bank, read news and keep in touch with friends — all using a browser. Because we spend so much time online, we began seriously thinking about what kind of browser could exist if we started from scratch and built on the best elements out there. We realized that the web had evolved from mainly simple text pages to rich, interactive applications and that we needed to completely rethink the browser. What we really needed was not just a browser, but also a modern platform for web pages and applications, and that’s what we set out to build. On...
