I had little love for President Bush or most presidents from recent times. My politics are described best as a Jeffersonian Strict Constructionist. Like President Jefferson realized with the Barbary Pirates, I realize we cannot simply hide behind the oceans and ignore the whole world otherwise the world will knock your door down. I wish that the Tenth Amendment to be more strictly enforced. I would like to see the Seventeenth Amendment to be revoked and allow the duty for appointing Senators be given back to the States’ Legislators instead of the present direct election system that simply reinforces the all powerful nature of the Federal Government.

In the Middle East, I would like to see us take a stand for real human rights that include women’s rights, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and the other rights implied in our founding documents. I am aware that this makes me some kind of a freak by today’s ideas, but I have adjusted to this as best I am able. I am against founding another state for Arabs living in the area of Israel as one was already established within the Mandate lands, called Jordan. The originally intended borders under the Balfour Declaration and the mandate under the League of Nations were for the Jewish State to be granted from the shores of the Mediterranean all the way to the borders of Iraq. Jordan was cut out of this Mandate Lands for the Arab State. That made the new lands for the Jewish State being from the Jordan border to the Mediterranean. That too was slice up between the Jews and the Arabs by the United Nation but the Arab States declined recognition and warred with Israel within the first week of Her existence.
