Pastery, I was in France last week and everyone I met asked me about Obama and how much they love Obama and what he represents, change!... As far as Al Qaeda, I hear similar views from Muslims in other countries and in the US, Obama is not friend to the Muslims... he has said that he wants to take action against Pakistan, a sovereign country, to hunt Osama, He did not like having with women with Hijab on stage during his campaign, and he always said he is not Muslim... why does it matter? THIS IS AMERICA

Madonna, She has good style, but it is not for me.
  • Posted By amra1 | 12 days ago
Wow, Now I know that Obama is not liked as much in the Muslim world as Europe. He is a real celebrity in Europe.

wow what a lucky woman, the probability that you can only get an ovary transplant if the transplant ovary is from identical twin!
what a miracle, she got the transplant to relieve menopausal symptoms at the age of 39, which is young to have menopause.... whereas 39 is getting to be very high risk pregnancy!

I do believe that video games in moderation are good for kids too. It improves there hand eye coordination and also helps them read as they have to know how to read to play the game and go from level to level.

Yes but this is hope for the people that they can do anything if they decide to do it! It is inspiration for the Indians and the world. It is awesome that India could achieve this mission at such a low budget

Agreed, with Knowledge grows tolerance and ability to look at a problem differently. The knowledge can be used in multiple industries and can be applied to solve different problems.... well beyond the return on one problem and industry

Pastery, your compassion is wonderful, but life is not always black or white and sometimes there is no logic. People as human make mistakes and bad decisions. The reason why….usually based on what they know or their interpretation of their beliefs. People maybe hypocrites , but we have to believe in their goodness and give them the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time be smart too and not be taken advantage of.

Remember the book Freakeconomics by Steven Levitt, the experiment with the bagels or donuts left in an office kitchen, where people could help themselves as long a they paid a dollar…. 90% of the people did the right thing only 10% stole the donuts. I do strongly believe that 90% of people are good, so most of the time we do have to trust the goodness in people. It is our society that creates the mistrust and wants us to focus on the 10%. It’s about mobilizing the 90% to create a better global society. But I also believe that 90% of people need the right leader and need to be guided. Self Reflection is very hard for people, we as human race are evolving to be a better species but we still make mistakes, I do believe that every generation needs to learn their own lessons, the institutional memory is there but still it needs to be learned.

Mr Anon, I thought that being over weight had to do with input and outputs...i.e if you eat big meals you become obese, I did not know that the speed at which you eat has anything to do withweight gain. I disagree with you on this and  I still think if you eat small meals and wolf them down you would not gain weight.. It is the quantity that matters not how you eat it.

Kilroy_60, a very interesting peice. America is fascinated with with Palin,  the saturday night live rating... 18 million people tuned in, the Vice presidential debate  close to 70Million people watched the debate. Americans love to hate Palin!

She is a force of nature and even if McCain loses the elecion,  we will see Palin back in full force.

Wow Sudhir, this is a gruesome photo, but This is on-the-ground reality in the FATA Region, People getting blown up and  people committing suicide as they have nothing to live for!

I went to Bank of America to get some cash today, it was business as usual, I took some cash out of the ATM and than went to the teller to get some more. There were no issues at all. But to be on the safe side it would not hurt to have more cash on hand  and not just depend on credit cards. American society is based on credit cards compared to Japan where credit cards have been around for 10 years but people still prefer cash.  I guess cash makes you spend less.

Doesn't Zardari know this a business meeting!  I am sure Palin did not like the remarks Zardari made,  but she took it well!

Interesting video Coyote!  We  don't know what the US financial Crisis really means for all of us, but I have heard on the news that things could get worse...For consumers..people not getting loans for cars, not being able to sell houses if they need to move for jobs,  not getting loans for houses... not being able to get money out of the ATM machines.......For small businesses... not getting loans to make payroll, comanies not being able to borrow money resulting in people losing jobs.... Some of the problems if there is no liquidity in the market.

    God help us all!

Alihamza,  watching this video... This is awful a 100,000 Pakistani solders and US air strikes in the tribal areas and not a single Al Qaida person has been caught and killed only innocent people. This is horrific as to what is going on...  Hamid Mir has resigned from GEO.
