    The media is ablaze with its new sensation, Gov. Palin of Alaska. Gov. Palin and her distinctive style of rhetoric is currently the hope of the RNC and its desire to win the competition for president in November. Is it fair to assume that the little keg of dynamite from Alaska is just another pretty face? Or, is it even remotely possible for people to think that this woman might in fact be another loose cannon who shoots first and asks questions later?

    Unfortunately, the woman and her policies, that is, how she governed as a mayor and a govenor in the vast wildland of Alaska, may not have experience to qualify her to be a forward-thinking, progressive Vice President of a nation that sorely needs a new direction economically and strategically in the world. With our basic freedom being threatened to deter terrorism, do we really need a VP who believes in removing/censoring books from libraries?

    But we all live in a world of cartoon characters because our media, the major MSM, has become an entertainment vehicle rather than a vehicle for meaningful information and facts that should lead to meaningful dialogue. For many overworked and/or marginally educated Americans, the race for president is between a decorated, tortured war hero who will continue in the steps of his predecessor whose popularity is now boosted by this cute, pistol-packing, tough-talking woman who is simultanelously a mother of five. This "Dream Team" are strategically placed against a black man or African...
