    This is a tragedy, and during the holiday season too. Though the EU and Russia have denounced the act, unfortunately nothing will truly be done to stop the suffering. The two extreme sides in Israel and in Palestine need to be taken down by their people, and moderates who share the peoples struggle on both sides should stop the senseless loss of life that has been happening there since the 40s.

    Yes it's a bit crazy. But I think its crazy in the aspect that they are making robots that look extremely human-like. I don't have the problem with robots doing household things, like other machines that make us coffee or roast our meals, but when they start to resemble human emotions and human beings, there's a strange line that we are crossing as people, a weird line.

    I agree with both of you on some degree, and I knew the iPhone would be a controversial choice as a gadget for 2008, considering it made its original debut in 2007, however - its increasing popularity in 2008, and its tremendous sales, i think changed many peoples lives in 2008.
