Thank God someone, who looks so young, can appreciate the lack of noise, ipods, pc's, and all the other things distracting from life. Kudos for you, and this little slic of truth. Peace, DMAN

Actually, I do have stories to tell, and I do relate. However, I would never bloviate my stories on here, where people would start going WAAAAAA-WAAAAAAA (baby style). You know? It is great you took the time to read though, and try to pigeon hole me as some white guy, with a chip on my shoulder, without knowing (or at least that is how it came across). Peace, DMAN

Then again, maybe you are correct, as I am sure he deserved the Nobel Peace prize altogether. Or maybe, the 26 rounds of golf he has played, 6 vacations, the sending Robert Gates to a NATO summit (hat in hand for them to anny up troops, without himself making a decision after two years) is the right choice? Or maybe, bankrupting the country, by letting the congress run the health care bill, rather than he/himself carving out a piece of legislation (which would have been his first, since being in the federal senate and president, unless you count GITMO, which is still open), as a win/something to be proud of. Then again, maybe it is him wanting congress and the senate, to spend $1.4 trillion extra dollars to the defecit (not counting him, with Cap & Trade, Stimulus, Omnibus, etc...etc... which has cost the country more than all the wars, the U. S. has been in TOTAL) deserves some kind of Nobel Prize? Then again, maybe I was right to begin with. By the way, know your author before using the "democratic hammer of yelling racism" (as you do not know me, my color, or my families color). Not to mention, I am a registered INDEPENDENT.

As for "the janitor cleaning up," aside from the World Wars, there has not been a President who had more problems (that were huge), than G. W. Bush (not that I liked his fiscal spending in his second term, especially). However, with 9-11, Iraq (which can be debated, but civil rights wise, it was the correct decision, as at least there is not constant torture and rape rooms), Afghanistan (which Obama said was a war of neccessity), Katrina, and then talk to the to the other Dems. (Frank, Dodd, Pelosi, etc..etc... about their pushing Fannie and Freddie to crush the housing industry, banking industry, all under their watch, for two years).

Although, I must beg to differ on the "deciding in Jan. not to like Obama," as I wrote articles for three months (before Newsweek and half the country starting saying, "WE ARE ALL SOCIALISTS NOW."), on the U.S. should give Obama a chance, to prove he wasn't a left leaning, ego maniac, who has not made any concrete decisions, except spend us into oblivion. Just wait until the bill comes due, and inflation kicks in. Then come talk to me. Ok? :) Peace, DMAN

I wondered exactly how the Obama Administration would be able to waste, drag out, the five to ten days, before the Fourth of July. Then, Michael Jackson's O.D. happened. Low and behold, on the Senate of the United States, the day after Jackson's death, Jermaine Jackson gets time. Now the whole news cycle, media, and every channel/periodical/etc...etc....is on the "Michael Jackson was a saint" bandwagon.

There is little news, except for on the Net (and still people have to dig, and look to find it), but Jackson. Why would the Obama Administration even try and make things any different, after getting there ABC Spot and the Congresss squeaky thru "Cap and Trade"? They wouldn't. Low and behold, Rahm Emanuel's words ring true, for the Barack Obama Administration, "There is no catastrophe, that can't be utilized." So, now they are just waiting and passing bills (which are going to sink America, with "Cap and Trade" and the "Health Care Bill"), no talk on Iranian Protests, and no talk from the Administration on North Korea (who is threatening to shoot Japanese planes down, out of N. Korean Air Space, shoot nuclear and other missile tests any day, and finally threatened war on the U. S., again). Unbelievable.

This is not a "tit for tat" response. However, if you want "transparency" and "accountability, look no further than the Obama White House. With the countless lies, from the primaries, to the blatant thumbing of Obama's nose at other networks, controling the media (like on ABC, with the "Obama-Care" infomercial), it harkens to the "Yes We Can" chant.

When in reality, Barack Obama is saying "Yes the Government Can and the American people can either trust the White House and me, or you are just out of luck.

It would be lovely to have all the answers to all the problems, but it is just not a reality in today's politics. Hopefully, things will change soon.

    Peace,

Agree 100%. It is hard to allow the hate spewing, whether in America, Europe, or the Middle East, when the topic is real and prudent.

I couldn't believe they were using the "Teabagging across America" and "TeaBaggers", with tongue and cheek speaking, between Rachel Maddow and guest. I wonder where the outrage was about any of "just" that issue alone (the sexual innuendo of the word "Tea Bag" or to "Tea Bag someone." Quie disguesting, for MSNBC.

    Peace,
    DMAN
