PrairieDogPress is the media outlet for keyston-prairie-dogs.com, which is an online conservation project designed to support environmental groups that have done extraordinary work to preserve the five remaining species of prairie dogs and their fragmented habitat across the eleven U.S. states of their historic range.
Jean Williams is an environmental journalist, photographer and artistic director of keystone-prairie-dogs.com. Her environmental, wildlife and political articles have been published in magazines, newspapers and Internet publications; including Seattle Magazine, Critters USA and Neighborhood America.

In early 2012, Macmillan bought one of Jean's Examiner articles to be used in one of their school books published for disadvantaged children in third world countries.
