Thank you all for these comments on my piece. They are fascinating and highly instructive. The stereotypes of Tibetans that are offered here are important. In Europe, Allan, you would be considered a racist for making such statements. In France, you would be considered a member of the National Front for indulging such stereotypes. Have you heard of Jean-Marie Le Pen? Your comments make the BNP in the UK look almost liberal in comparison.
