From SFist--We just received the following, rather tragic alert from a reader:

Suicide in Union Square, jumped off building, blocks closed off, assorted people freaking out...super f*****. My guy was walking down to that area and saw some block(s) around O'Farrell and Powell closed off and cops everywhere. Ambulance folk huddled around what is presumably a body. And (shudder) at least one person sobbing into a cell phone saying (correctly) that it's the most horrible thing she's ever seen.

The only thing we can confirm is that there was a suicide near H&M this afternoon. Click here for more information
