One mom's thoughts to other moms from a Biblical standpoint.
As a mother and a grandmother I want to interact with other Christians (both women and men) that are parenting or working with children of all ages in a Christian environment. I have my first book MOM TO MOM in the process of final editing.
Having worked in public schools since the mid 1980′s, I have seen a drastic change in adolescent behavior. I have worked with preschool to college in the public and private sectors. I have also been very active with these groups at some point through various churches, retreats and camps. I did not raise perfect children, nor was I the perfect mom. However, I did raise two daughters to become successful young women of whom I am very proud; both of whom love the Lord.
I offer a note of warning in my forward to my book MOM TO MOM, “If you are looking for a book that will help you raise the perfect kid, close this one now. There was only one perfect child raised in history, Jesus. It is comforting to note He did not have perfect parents.”
