Actually if you look at other studies it's the overly moral household that have increased teen pregnancy. This is usually due to education system that don't teach safe sex, and abstinence only instead. Parents who scare there kids into thinking condoms don't work, so the kids don't bother with them. Don't believe me, look at Sara Palin's moral household. Or teen pregnancy statistics in rural Texas.
I can see the correlation with this article, I'd assume the more religious households would be more likely to have two parents living in them, equaling higher incomes.
I think you might be stretching a bit on this one. Big deal, 2 republican governors win. I realize that the party of no, needs a win so they have to jump on this as proof that the republican party doesn't suck, but in the big picture this means nothing. After all, they didn't win in New York's congressional seat that was up, in a very conservative district. Which of course gives the democrats one more possible vote for healthcare and the environment.
Scantily dressed women, big deal. Interesting that people are throwing a fit about a dad doing that with his son, but I bet if he told people he took his kid to the newest Saw movie, people wouldn’t say a thing.
I wouldn’t say I’m a huge Ron Paul fan or anything, but it would be nice to see this country move from a 2 party system, to a democracy with more than a choice of the lesser of two evils each election.
I like how you have the links proving your statements, yet a bunch of people have commented about other news stations doing the same, yet they have not posted any links proving their statements.
Don't forget to call out that Reganomics involved de-regulating the banks, contributing to our current economic problems. And that the last time the unemployment rate was as high as it is now, was during Regan's presidency. Or the part where during the Regan era that the average person was lucky to get a mortgage under 10% interest. You mention that he created jobs through military spending. Great, jobs through feeding the war machine. Yet you have a problem with Obama's plans of spending and creating jobs through domestic spending, ie spending it on making this country better, over making sure we have Battleships ready to go. Oh, and let us not forget Regan's increased spending on the "war on drugs" and how well that has worked out.
Good article. I recently read a report that Americans are getting better about their spending. We are saving more and using credit for spending less often. The unfortunate part is that it took at economic crisis to get people to start being better about spending. It's also unfortunate that our economy is so heavily reliant on consumption that any reduction is spending, only adds to the economic downturn.
It always amazes me whenever I read a story like this, how little we've really advanced as a species. Maybe this is their way of proving that there is no such thing as evolution.
sounds like you are doing a little typical "conservative" mis-quoting to me. How about you add a link to your response where that's documented fact, and then I will actually attempt take anything you say seriously.
