We need it. Chargers Are filling up our landfills. I;ve got 4 at home. Absolutely useless since I cant use it for any other phone. They seems to wok, so its a shame to throw it away. Hopefully it will be a reality in the future.
More Children would actually put enormous strain on the already strained resources of our world. The superpower effect though is a cultural thing. They need to create sustainable development and proper environmental policy
Not really. If i did that on purpose, it would actually give a reverse effect. People who wanted to read up on MJ would not find my article cos of the mistake. Thanks for pointing it out though. I'e got this habit of mistyping e's and a's. Welcome to all voices though!
I personally wouldn't want anyone to manage my facebook, and I'd rather not use it if I got 10,000 friends requests! But as you say, he could appoint a personal secretary to take care of his updates maybe, but then the point of FB is lost.
Misrosoft anyway owns a bit of FB, so I'm sure he should be able to come up with some brilliant solution sometime
I guess this is just the price of popularity. The best option for him would be a twitter page. That way he can keep in touch with people who only need to follow his feeds.
The same thing happened here with a mobile operator called AIRTEL. They entered the market without ensuring that their service quality and customer service was top notch assuming that customers would switch operators based on the brand value and positioning. They were terribly wrong and made a huge mess of their customer service. Today, they are distributing free SIM's on the roadside, and no body seems to want them.
Actually no. I've even been told that if authorities discovered a second child, they;d go to the extremes of either forcefully aborting it, or giving it in to foster care and then virtually abandoning it. But this is a welcome stance and change of policy
hehe.. Its probably all an animation, but I do know the salt method that you mentioned. We kinda learnt it in school those days and we used to use it for snails, by dropping them in a bucket of salt water. 15-30 mins later and you'd only get the shell remaining, and it certainly saved a lot of trees that we had in the garden.
The salt also works for mosquitoes. We add salt to any dish of water left out in the open, and it prevent the larvae from growing.
Actually, What I meant was that someone who is/was a clergy member should not become politicized. It creates a conflict of interest.
A normal religious minded person becoming a politician is no issue at all. Its just that you cant please everybody all the time when u are in power and you tend to get too much of media attention and any misdeed you commit will be blown out of proportion, and this will then be linked back to his past as a priest and people will start to say that clergy is all rotten.
I personally think religion and politics should not mix. Religion dictates peoples undertaking to a particular faith, while politics is governance of all people irrespective of their beliefs. Mixing the two will create a situation where both politics and religion will try to converge on a singular plane and will lead to many misunderstandings as well as political and religious strife.
I've seen religious clergy trying to get involved directly in politics and ultimately loosing the respect of those they command. And just one individual can spoil the whole thing for everyone concerned, irrespective of what they do.
Superstitions are culture based. For some the number 13 is lucky, for others its a sign of bad luck. Its even present in sport, where scoring 87 (13 less from 100) is supposed to be unlucky as where scoring a 111 is considered to be called a "Nelson" and is supposed to be unlucky.
The point however is you create your own luck. If you think its unlucky, your mental position will create the unlucky situation around you. In other words, you get what you think.
Its the same for cricketers who feel its unlucky and get out trying to play a rash shot to avoid getting out and ultimately get out.

I've seen it happen:-) Just my view point though.
