I'm a journalist, activist and organic food producer in western Manitoba, Canada. I write articles and letters-to-the-editor in area newspapers my own blog. "Paths Less Travelled," as I've named it, has been a labour of love for me.
I specialize in environmental stories, including climate change, resource depletion, organic vs. industrial farming and contamination and pollution of our air, water and soil.
For several years, up to and including last year, my wife and I produced certified organic vegetables on our acreage near Roblin, which we sold at farmers' markets as far away as Winnipeg. We also make pure maple syrup from nearby Manitoba maple groves.
