I believe in freedom and simplicity. I want to live a quiet life, and my philosophy is summed up by Ralph Waldo Emerson in his "On Self-Reliance." I'm a writer whose works, in both journalism and literature, have appeared in various publications. I learned writing from Winston Churchill and Charles Lindbergh; and editing from DeWitt Wallace, founder of "Reader's Digest." Two books that changed my life are Wayne Dyer's "Your Erroneous Zones" and Richard Bach's "Jonathan Livingston Seagull." I'm a nature lover and a hopeless romantic. I love grilled chicken and tuna sandwiches. I also love dogs and horses but I don't eat them.
