Started my life in journalism in 1977, spending 15 years as a photographer. I incorporated writing with my photography, and have been doing this ever since, until my disibility in 2007.
I will be writing and photographing topics that I enjoy, and on a time table that fits in with my disability.
My acccomplishments: 2005 Pulitzer Finalist, Florida Press Club's 2005 Frances DeVore Award for Public Service (investigative reporting). I have won numerous awards both state and national.
I was the President of the Florida Press Club from 2006 - most of 2007. Spent 3 years total on the board of directors, with a year as Vice President, and doing the roll of seminar coordinator.
