Basically,I'm an English language.teacher at a private institute in Karachi ,Pakistan.(but I feel I'm still learning as I believe education is an on-going process till your very last day.) I was in the U.S.for quite sometime but now I'm back home in Pakistan. I learned a lot from my trip to the U.S.The Allvoices Community' is a very informative and enlightening experience for me.Thank you for your support.I've made many friends here too. I'm constantly in touch with what is happening in Pakistan and the world over.i'm very fond of nature and would love to go to Africa to enjoy wild life. I try to bring out the evils of our society through my writings and I marvel at the poor down trodden women of my country. They are very strong and are ready to sacrifice anything for their children.I'm proud of our armed forces. They're the best in the world.
There can be all kind of reasons for committing the crime. No use arguing.Whatever happened is very sad indeed! My heart goes out to those families who mourn the death of their loved ones.
Thanks Billie. No doubt it was a very sad incident and has to be dealt with firmly. You 're right, the person must have had a very bitter feeling about the action U.S. military took against Iraq and dreaded to go there. This is the main reason why he committed the act

Thanks for your support,Billie. You're right,I normally don't watch the government run channel but this evening I just happened to see the proceedings live and was SO happy to observe that AT LAST those whom we have voted for are demanding justice.Lets hope action is taken judicially.
It's good to observe that Imran Khan who was quite snob and (like he admits)he used to look down on the middle class people especially those who kept beards, has turned over a new leaf.He has studied the Qura'n and read the translation of the Arabic script. Thanks for sharing with all voices readers.
Sorry for missing your very interesting report. We have cats in all shapes and sizes indoors and are about to give away the youngsters to good homes. It really came as a surprise to hear the report. Thanks Billie.
Thanks for voicing your opinion, mllovric,Shirley and ZXX00A.You're right if she doesn't like her husband she should but she take divorce .However, it seems she wanted the money and thought it was a good way to extract money from her husband. On the other hand the report states that she was in a normal frame of mind and the mechanic took advantage of her condition.
Weddings in the Sub-Continent are very interesting and colorful. In Pakistan too the two families share and cherish happy moments with singing and dancing and exchange of gifts. In fact, the two families along with their friends enjoy the wedding celebration for nearly a week. The dresses the women folk wear are bright with gold and silver embroidery work on them, whereas men wear traditional kurtas and shalwars with colored sash to go with their outfits. (usually of bright colors)Young boys and girls from the grooms side perform group dances and there is stiff competition as the bride's friends too follow, dancing and singing and trying to outclass the opposite side with their dancing skills. Its really a time for fun and rejoicing! The song in this video is sung by a famous Pakistani singer the late Nusrat Fateh Ali.
Thanks for your comments. They are heartless people.Imagine the migratory birds who come here in winter from across Siberia in search of warmer climate are also hunted down. These birds are endangered but these ruthless men just hunt them down and the authorities let them off with just a nominal fine.
Thanks for stopping by.The man in question last used his passport in 2001.No further news of his whereabouts are available and there is an investigation taking place to try to figure out where he could be hiding.
Thanks for your update, jim.I have briefly written and feel that it was a very sad incident.Innocent women and children were shopping in this congested narrow bazaar where mostly ladies and children's clothing is sold.A car just rammed through the narrow street and caused an awfully big blast which burned down buildings and caused immense destruction an the talibaan death which shocked the people there. They were angry with the government for not providing any security. It's being debated that the act was not committed by the militants but by Blackwater. What is your opinion, jim?
A very sad state of affairs as the death toll rises to over hundred dead.70 of the dead were women and innocent children. Thanks for your observations and comments.
It's no doubt that Waseem Akram is still in a state of shock at the sudden demise of his beautiful and intelligent wife,Huma. He is blaming the doctors in Lahore as according to him they did not treat her illness according to his satisfaction. Muslims believe that the time of death is fixed by the Almighty. All I can say is may Allah Almighty give Wasim and his sons courage to bear the irrepairiable loss. Ameen.
