Basically,I'm an English language.teacher at a private institute in Karachi ,Pakistan.(but I feel I'm still learning as I believe education is an on-going process till your very last day.)
I was in the U.S.for quite sometime but now I'm back home in Pakistan. I learned a lot from my trip to the U.S.The Allvoices Community' is a very informative and enlightening experience for me.Thank you for your support.I've made many friends here too.
I'm constantly in touch with what is happening in Pakistan and the world over.i'm very fond of nature and would love to go to Africa to enjoy wild life.
I try to bring out the evils of our society through my writings and I marvel at the poor down trodden women of my country. They are very strong and are ready to sacrifice anything for their children.I'm proud of our armed forces. They're the best in the world.
Recently we celebrated the 'Golden Jubilee'of our institute, (PACC),'The Pakistan American Cultural Center'. God bless PACC AND God bless Pakistan.
I saw the report on our t.v.channels here in Karachi. Its a very sad thing to have happened. She was such a lovely child. They even showed a video about the little girl's activities. The parents seemed shattered.
Thanks for your comments but you must try this old method wherever you can possibly get an earthen pot to cook in.Why not cook over the week-end and do let me know how the food turned out.
Thanks for stopping by and for voicing your comments,Billie, pollard,ZXXOOA and GMBAIG.The Americans have got to realize that use of drones is very cruel way of dealing with the insurgents as mostly innocent peoples' lives are lost in the drone attacks.
Thanks for the report, nathanielinbrazil.I too came across this news.It was a horrendous crime! Why did they have to take so long to put him to death, after what he did to the poor young girl?
The U.S.definitely needs Turkey at this critical period of history when so many blunders have been committed by previous rulers so much so that even the majority of the people in the U.S. are ashamed of them as the inhumane acts done, have defied all human morals and values. Thanks for your detailed report, jim.

Thanks for the report prabirghose. The teachers should be made to run around the school for a change!Absolutely outrageous on the part of the teachers to punish such young kids in such a way.
You are so right,aho1888.Nothing lasts forever.Makes one ponder and we are made to realize how short dominance can last.We must be humble at all times.
I'm delighted at the response I've got from all you 'Allvoices' readers. Thanks a lot.Besides, cooking in an earthen pot is MUCH healthier though it may be time consuming. Thanks andy for the images.
Thanks for pointing out one of the the main reasons and interest that the U.S. has for lingering on in Kabul. There is too much corruption too in the Karzai government.
That's an amazing story,Billie.I was about to doze off while baby sitting when I thought I'd browse thru All Voices and I read your story. Thanks a lot.I wish the prisoners in Gitmo would be treated well and they in turn would act like the Germans did in WW2.
Thanks for your comments andy. You must try this old method of cooking, something like a crock-pot.Hello aho1888 and Rukku. The food in Pakistan is definitely delicious esp. during the weddings and these days it IS the wedding season.
According to Dawn news the number of dead is almost 40 which includes women and children.Besides, about 70 have been injured. These militants couldn't be muslims or for that matter even human beings. They are just murderers who took pleasure in killing innocent worshipers who had gone to attend Friday prayers in a mosque.
Hello mona37.It is indeed very sad that the idea of having talks with the moderate Taliban has been shelved and war and destruction seem to be the only solution.
Thanks for your response,Billie. You're so right,Obama would never say that the American soldiers would give up their positions and go back home,at least not in the near future. Thanks Inamshah for voicing your views. It is indeed a very sad situation.Hello mllovoric.Naturally men from the armed forces can't decide to go to Afghanistan or stay behind in the U.S.Its their duty to obey or else they are court- marshaled
Has the U.S.actually helped Pakistan in acquiring nuclear technology? That's really news for me?When did this happen and how, jimsjoin? Please elaborate.
