    Another FactCheck on Braskey:

    $26,900 x 3 = $80,700   Hardly "TRIPPLED" (spelled "tripled", by the way).

Read up on your facts and double-check your math before you go high and mighty.

I also took the liberty of fact-checking your math (or sorry, the math you borrowed):

Those figures only show a 174% increase....and no, it doesn't round up.

Wow...Billy's gettin' interested in lively debate.   Good for you!

I actually have looked at the BUDGETS myself, (shame on me for listening to mainstream media), and fair enough, no drop, but the increases in budget you claim (FoxNews speaking points) are faulty too.   Go ahead and have a look for yourself.   It was a shift of a line item in the budget and all she did was carry over what had been previously allocated...

and by the way, I don't read this DailyKos  you mention.   I'm middle of the road, but I'll defend the Constitution and Americans of either party when it's called for.

For what it's worth, I have written publications that I got the information from and asked for accountability and better fact-checking, as we Americans should expect from our media.

See Billy Boy, this is how intelligent human beings work through issues to get to the heart of the matter.   Thanks for pointing that one out...  Since you're so talented at research I'd like for you to rebuff this claim:

    1) Sarah Palin contacted an Alaskan library and asked how one would go about banning books.   (Notice I'm not claiming that she did or tried, but anyone with half a brain can figure out what her intention was...  People that don't intend to ban books from the library don't call and ask how it's done.)  Please...  tell me she's the golden child and this is a lie.

If you think that this is an everyday American act of patriotism, see what other brilliant movements supported banning and burning books.

It's an act to silence debate, which is contrary to true education and arriving at the best informed answer.   Why would someone do that?

Personally, I don't care what label or name is attached to the policy, but there needs to be intelligent policy, both foreign and domestic, to ensure that the next few years don't seal the deal of America's demise.

Obama has worked legislation through to deal with domestic issues, to get our economy and people back on track.   McCain, today, showed his disconnect with the rest of Americans and the economy stating that the foundations of our economy remain strong...and later, was pushed back on stage to recant and "re-word" his earlier statements as the US economy took a further dive.   McCain's principal economic advisor is tied into the banking institutions whose dumb bets got our economy into the sad state its in now.

Do your reading...Vote with your brain and these candidates' track records...this isn't a vote for Prom King and Queen.

Hehe...no you are not men.   Hope you two love it when your houses get repossessed, when your sons (or hopefully you) are sent off to fight for someone else's money, when your jobs go overseas.   And who knows, the two of you could be rich jackasses on a hill, but you reap what you sow.   If it doesn't touch you, it'll touch someone close to you at some point...and I pity you.

You're no American.   You spit on the red, white and blue by joking when you have an opportunity to make a positive change to the country.

You're no man.   A man would strive to learn all he could to assure that his country remains peaceful and prosperous for his family, friends, and children and would act on it.   A man would speak about what matters most to him and his loved ones and do his best to insure their hopes for the future.

You're not hiding from anyone, "Bill Braskey".  And you're doing little to further the debate over actual issues that Americans NEED to consider before choosing someone to fill the office of President and lead us through these troubled times.

If you have an ounce of manhood or respect for your country and fellow Americans, you'd admit that, joking aside, we all need to face what our country is up against and meet the challenges head-on.

I've got nothing against your expression of freedom of speech, though I'd respect my right enough to say that you're wasting your breath trying to make childish playground remarks at a time when we got down to business.   I don't need to make the case for the need for effective leaders in Washington when the rest of the country sees it with their own eyes, feels it in the absence of military family members, and feels it in their pocketbooks.

If you have one shred of manhood left, one bit of American in you, regardless of who you support, you'd face facts...step up to the plate, Billy Boy...or is mommy calling you home for supper?

Also, I'd like to comment on the remark about foreigners wanting the worst for the US.   First off, your studies (following in the sad path of Braskey) are non-existent.   What is existent, is personal experience, my own and my family and friends who have travelled throughout the world and met these "enemies of the US" you talk so knowledgeably about.

First off, it's an illogical conclusion based on the FACT that the US economy is tied to every other major market in the world...want proof, read today's papers...  Secondly, another wackjob president means bad news for EVERYONE in the world.   The BBC is following the US election closer and more accurately (non-partisan) than any other syndicated news station...is that because they want what's worst for us?  Grow up... People are people the world around.

It is more difficult to come by people outside America who view Americans favorably these days, though, TRUE.   However, those Americans who do bother to communicate with foreigners, travel to their countries and present the goodness of true patriot Americans to them turn the tide, one-by-one, to undo the damage that the foolish Americans who voted Bush in a second term have done to our nation.   It's by no means a stop-gap, but if you saw America from the outside, you'd have a bit of trouble justifying your 'misunderstood' countrymen to people who see nothing but the ill effects of badly mismanaged policies (on it's own people and the world).

We've got to stop this ignorant rhetoric and step up to the plate to deal with issues and restore America and its reputation.   I've got all the faith in the world that Bill will read his paper instead of wiping with it, and that one day, he too may engage in adult conversation.   If not, we definitely know who to hunt when the ship starts sinking...

In my home state (Bush's adopted home) of Texas, Bush's "No Child Left Behind" has tied the hands of capable teachers from actually teaching, forcing them instead to have students waste hours of classroom time each week reviewing for and pre-testing for meaningless tests.   Because the test results are linked to money given to the schools from the government, administrators obviously put these test results first, and actual learning second.   I witnessed this appalling trend when my sister (who just graduated high school) would come home day after day, disenchanted with what was presented to her as 'the learning process' which consisted mostly of performing the same mundane worksheets for these standardized tests.

Unrelated, or maybe a result of the public school system's loss of idealistic, intelligent and talented teachers due to this Bush bs:  I was irate when I heard from my sister that one of her teachers told students that she needed to get a passport, because she was going to Hawaii.   The students, obviously taken aback by this lack of knowledge from someone who they are told to respect as a purveyor of knowledge, said "Ma'am...that's a state in the U.S.  You'd need one for a trip to Canada, though."  She replied, "Huh?  That's not a state anymore?"

We need to approach education with the same gusto that we've "battled terrorists".   Dead Iraqis and Americans won't make America a stronger nation in the future...ignoring the education is bound to ensure that we breed ignorance.  It's this same ignorance that allows fascist liars to kill civil liberties and play to the crowd while robbing our country blind.

I personally don't see what's wrong with bringing up this issue.   The fact that Palin (or one of the Palin's) have a child with Down's Syndrome doesn't change the fact that Sarah Palin cut funding for families with disabled children in her term as governor.   McCain's campaign is trying schoolyard tactics to avoid facing the reality of Palin's past...nothing new there.

This morning Bill Braskey, the shameful husk of a man, committed an un-American act following the grand style of his adopted party's leaders, by contructing a hollow lie and trying to pass it off as fact.  Unfortunately for Bill Braskey, this page will likely be indexed for generations of budding historians to point out his epic failure to his shamed descendents.   Welcome to the internet, Bill.    DUHR....
