Brahma (the creater god, like a magician pulls out a rabbit out of hat - created Brahmins from his mouth, Kashtriyas (fighters) from arms, Vaishyas (traders)from belly and shudras (untouchable dalits like Kambli) pooped out from his feet- Popular Hindu religious scriptures command.

Dalits, at lowest ladder in this well defined ancient social hirarchy are meant to serve the society by performing all sorts of work considered downcast and abominable by rest of the society.

Yes Muslims also have a system of hirarchy and Pathan belongs to influential fighter community

They still posses vast tracts of land and most of them have done good in real estate business. However the move by the Congress is going to be symbolic one, nothing much is going to cahnge
