Algae Outbreak Threatens Beijing Olympics
Call it Night of the Living Sea Organisms. Or, imagine an oceanic infestation guaranteed to choke every waterway in and around the city that you live in, suffocating all aquatic life like a big oil spill. Yes, we're talking about China again, this time, the city of Qingdao, where 20,000 Chinese are currently attempting to scoop these floating green organisms out of the sea.
If it can go wrong, it will go wrong, and when it does, it will be absolutely spectacular. Old Testament-style, death is everywhere. That's China's new MO, or so the forced labor being put into the Yellow Sea to make the tourists happy are saying to themselves, as the Communist authorities make them suffer the polluted waters plaguing their town.
