Some in the United States know what it is to feel hunger, but certainly not many. That makes it hard for them to understand the food riots that have occurred in places like Egypt and Haiti, but American consumers seem to be watching prices and stockpiling, not to say hoarding, the basics before their prices increase. After seeing their shelves emptied, places like Sam's club have put a four bag limit on rice and it is feared that rising food prices will send the economy even further down...
