Scott Phillip Brown

Scott Phillip Brown is a Republican running  for the U.S. Presidential Elections 2012

Biography

Scott Phillip Brown, a Republican and Presidential Election candidate for the upcoming elections, was born on September, 12, 1959, in Kittery, Maine. Later, his family moved to Massachusetts and it is there that Brown began his political career. Scott Brown is currently junior U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, and has previously served as a member of the Massachusetts General Court, first in the State House of Representatives from 1998 till 2004, and then in the State Senate from 2004 till 2010.

Scott Brown was first elected in the 2010 special election, in which he faced the Democrat candidate, Attorney General, Martha Coakley. The candidacy was to succeed U.S. Senator, Ted Kennedy, and he faced a tough competition from Coakley. In the beginning Brown trailed Coakley by a large margin but he later won the elections and became the first Republican elected to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts since Edward Brooke in 1972.

Education and Experience

Scott Brown graduated from Wakefield High School in 1977. After graduating from high school, he pursued his Bachelors degree in Arts and History and graduated from Tufts University in 1981. During his undergraduate career at Tufts, Brown was also a member of the Kappa Chapter of Zeta Psi International Fraternity. After graduating from Tufts, Brown became a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 1985.

However, he posed strategically so that ‘nothing could be seen’. After that he managed to get several contracts for catalog modeling and the money which he received helped him get through law school.
