Phillip Waugh (born 22 September 1979 in Sydney) is an Australian rugby union player, widely regarded as one of the world's leading flankers.

There was no repeat of last week's try-scoring bonanza as the New South Wales Waratahs edged past the Western Force 14-10 in a grinding Super 14 clash at Subiaco Oval here Saturday night. Waratahs captain Phil Waugh, pictured in 2008, was pleased to escape with the win.
