Michael Vick has been stripped of everything, money, house, possibly his NFL career and most of his real fanbase. After almost two years they are still punishing Vick, I have worse crimes get less time. I am not condoning what Vick did, and he should have been punished. But lets let the crime fit the punishment. Dog fighting is agaist the law, but the PETA activists are worried more about the dogs than if any humans were harmed during the escapade. I love dogs too! I just think that everyone is being too harsh on Vick, mostly because of his popular statis. Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens wasa suspect in a murder trial, but all that seemed to fade away and he was allowed to help the Ravens to a Super Bowl title. Jahmal Lewis was a part of one of the biggest drug deals in known history and served 4 months, in the off-season. Maybe these two athletes would have gotten more of a punishment had they hit a dog during on the way to the stadium. I just think we have done overboard on this dogfighting matter. Weren't most of the dogs pitbulls and rotweilers? Aren't we trying to destroy those species because we are having trouble with them attacking PEOPLE?

Michael Vick was striped of everything. In this case you can say you play you pay. Ok since he has paid why dont we forget it all happened and get him back in the game, football that is. Lets start giving him the big bucks again so he can replaced all that he has lost. No Not ME. He has taken away the lives of animals and has killed or perminently impaird them. Maybe there is a difference between how we are suppose to take care of our pets and say maybe our spouse but who is there to speak for them. I believe Michael Vick should be labled and monitored for life, since he still has one.
