Merril Hoge's Biography

Merril DuAine Hoge (pronounced /ˈhɒdʒ/; born January 26, 1965) is a former professional American football player. He played eight seasons at running back for the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears, retiring after the 1994 season. Since 1997 he has been a football analyst for ESPN television.
