Keith Vaz's Biography
Nigel Keith Anthony Standish Vaz, known as Keith Vaz (born 26 November 1956 in Aden Colony) is a British Labour Party politician and a Member of Parliament for Leicester East. He is the longest-serving Asian MP and has been the Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee since July 2007. He was appointed as a member of Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council in June 2006.
