David Copperfield (born September 16, 1956 as David Seth Kotkin) - American magician, best known for his spectacular demonstrations linked to the stories.
He specializes in so-called "the greatest magician in the world ". His most famous trick is to cause the disappearance of the Statue of Liberty, Boeing, Orient Expresu, Tornado of Fire, and penetration through the Great Wall of China.
David Copperfield was born in Metuchen, New Jersey, the son of Jewish immigrants from Russia.
He gave a professional illusionist shows at age 12, became the youngest member of the Society of American Magicians. As the illusion of sixteen he taught students of the Faculty of Drama at New York University.
The young artist took the early nickname Davino, but when he met at a convention of the New York journalist magicians Barry Cunningham, this suggested to him that took the name David Copperfield.
