Person Biography:(required) <p>Chelsea Ives is the 18-year old 2012 Olympics ambassador who was detained for mass-scale rioting on August 11, 2011.  A talented athlete, Ives is one of the volunteers who will welcome visitors during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.</p> <p>Ambassadors like Chelsea are to be 'the face of London' and will greet and advise visitors at airports, rail stations and tourist hotspots. Ives had visited the House of Commons and even met celebrity athlete Sebastian Coe.</p> <p>Her own parents reportedly reported her to the police after seeing her smashing windows on the riot's video footage. She allegedly hurled bricks at a police car. A total of more than 1,500 rioters have been arrested nation-wide.</p> <p>She later appeared at Westminster magistrates' court, which heard that she boasted of having 'the best day ever' after allegedly rampaging through Enfield.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
