Andrew Hore's Biography

Andrew Hore (born 13 September 1978 in Dunedin, New Zealand) is a rugby union player who plays for Taranaki in the ITM Cup. He has played for the All Blacks since 2002. His position is hooker. In June 2011 he was let go from the Hurricanes Super Rugby team after spending ten seasons with the capital side. He will join the Highlanders for the 2012 season.

The Wellington Hurricanes cut loose in the second half to post an emphatic 47-22 victory against an under-strength Western Force in their Super 14 rugby match. "We put more emphasis on the ball carrier and the cleaners doing their job, one man, one bullet sort of thing," captain Andrew Hore, pictured in action in 2007, said of the improvement from the previous week.
