Person Biography:(required) <p>Aishwarya Rai was born on 1st November 1973 at Mangalore, Karnataka, India. She now resides at Mumbai, Maharashtra. She had been married to bollywood actor Abhishek Batchan, son of Amithab Batchan, and changed her name as Aishwarya Rai Batchan. <br />Aishwarya Rai started her career as a model and gained fame after winning the miss world title in 1994. <br />After winning miss world title she engaged to acting career. Rai made her acting debut in Mani Ratnams tamil movie Iruvar(1997) and had her first commercial success through the thamil movie Jeans(1998). Now Rai had acted over 40 movies in Hindi, English, Tamil and Bengali, which includes international productions.<br />For a long time Aishwarya was considered as the most beautiful women in the world and refered as an icon of beauty.</p>
