Adam Johnson is a rising star footballer in England who plays for Manchester City and has finally been selected by England Manager, Fabio Capello, as a regular contributor for the senior men's team.
Adam has been included in the named squad for England's match against Switzerland on June 4th. With injuries to other players, such as Michael Carrick, lets hope that Adam plays a significant role in this qualifying match for EURO 2012.

AJ may have been in the squad for this pivotal international, but he didn't even make the bench as England came from 2 goals down to tie the Swiss and remain atop of their qualifying group for now. Stewart Downing proved to be the option for Fabio during this match, but reports state he missed an opportunity to win the match. We will see more of Adam in the future, for certain.
