Oklahoma State's Zach Johnson hits for the cycle during the 19th-ranked Cowboys' 9-2 win over Kansas State in Stillwater. Johnson led the OSU attack as he became the first Cowboy to hit for the cycle since Josh Fields achieved the rare feat on April 15, 2003, against Texas-Pan American. Johnson began the game with an RBI double that scored two runs in the first inning. Johnson hammered the first of two back-to-back home runs in the fourth. He singled in the sixth, and with the game in hand, Johnson put an exclamation point on the win by completing his bid for the cycle with a triple to center field in the eighth.
