Zach Johnson's two-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted Oklahoma State to a 4-2 win over Washington Tuesday night at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. Starting in the 10th inning with one out in a 2-2 game and pinch runner Will Sparks on second, Washington's Ryan Wiggins sent a grounder up the middle. OSU shortstop Hunter Bailey ranged to his left and threw out Wiggins at first as Sparks rounded third and sprinted for home. But Johnson fired home to Phillips, who tagged out Sparks to end the inning and keep the Huskies off the scoreboard. With the game still tied 2-2, Dane Phillips led off the decisive 11th inning with an infield single, and Johnson followed by depositing the first pitch he saw from Jacob Clem over the wall to set off the Cowboy celebration. Johnson's blast, which carried just over the top of the left field wall and was his second of the contest, helped the Cowboys improve to 16-5 on the season heading into this weekend's showdown against No. 4 Texas.
