Tony Abbott is kicked out of Federal Parliament

Tony Abbott has become one of only six Opposition Leaders to have been kicked out of Federal Parliament since Federation (according to the ABC's 7.30). The reason? Despite having received a number of warnings, Tony Abbott has persisted in interjecting while others are speaking. People may remember that in August, 2010, Tony Abbott stated the following: "It's important that we make it absolutely crystal clear that the Parliament is a place for debate, not for mindless political point-scoring. The Parliament is a place for members to be able to ask reasonable questions and get reasonable answers. And yes, I am totally committed to this." - Or perhaps this: "I think that the spirit of Parliament has been needlessly confrontational, especially over the last three years." - Obviously, Abbott's own words mean precious little.
