We know how to have prevented this needless death. Is Ray LaHood Culpable? This was a human being trying to go to work and support his family and he was taken out by an out of control Loose Trailer. A 40-year old man was killed Wednesday morning after his car was hit by an airborne trailer on I-20 in Jackson during the morning commute, causing an interstate shutdown. It happened just before 7:30am in the westbound lanes near the I-220 exit. Jackson police say a roofing truck heading eastbound was hauling a trailer when it unhitched from the truck and went airborne across the median and into the westbound lanes. The trailer hit a Dodge Stratus and Toyota Camry. The driver of the Stratus, 40-year old Andre Brown was taken to UMC with life-threatening conditions after emergency crews used the jaws of life to remove him from the vehicle. He died a short time later at the hospital. The female driver of the Camry was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Her name has not yet <b>...</b>
