Newt Participates in ABC/Yahoo Iowa Debate

Reagan believed the power of truth restated the world and reframed the world. I'm a Reaganite. I'm proud to be a Reaganite. I will tell the truth, even if it's at the risk of causing some confusion, sometimes, with the timid. - Newt Gingrich Presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich, starts the debate by answering a question about his "distinguished plan" to bring back jobs to America. His plan begins with "lowering taxes, less regulation, an American energy plan, and being positive about people who create jobs." His plan is based on his experience under President Reagan, and as House Speaker when these principles were applied and successful in helping the American people create jobs. Other topics include his dozen years of running successful small businesses, the need to encourage the young to learn science, math, and a work ethic. Newt also wants to audit the Fed, fire Bernanke, secure the border, tell the truth about terrorism, and move healthcare back to a doctor/patient relationship.
