www.ntv.co.ke President Mwai Kibaki has this (Friday) morning officially opened the Cabinet retreat in Mombasa. He asked asking ministers to unite for the sake of developing the country. Kibaki told them not to waste time on what he termed frivolous issues but rather focus on the interests of the country. The meeting is being held at a time when there is anxiety in government over the fight against corruption. The anti-graft purge is being viewed by some as a conspiracy against targeted ministers. The president and Prime Minister Raila Odinga arrived in the coastal city last evening for the two-day retreat.
