Qasim Agha was a Mustashar ( Head of Saddam's Kurdish mercenary militias ) in the early 1980's until the fall of Iraqi regime in 2003 by the American Forces. Qasim Agha had participated side by side with iraqi army in destroying Kurdish villages and killing thousands of innocent Kurds in the 1980's of last century include the Anfal Campaign ( Kurdish genocidal campaign of 1988). He had launched many attaches against Kurdish Peshmarga forces and killed many of them by his own hands as it is shown in this video where he captures some wounded Peshmargas in Koye region after a sever confrontation with them. He insults them and sent them to be questioned and later to be executed. Qasim Agha like many other Mustashars run away to Baghdad after 1991 when Kurdistan was partially liberated from Saddam's rule. But later in 2003, after the fall of Iraqi regime he returned to Erbil-Kurdistan and to be fully protected from jurisdiction by President of Kurdistan Masud Barzani who also worked as a bigger under cover Mustashar for Saddam Husain from 1991-2003. When Kurdish human rights activists tried to bring him to justice, Qasm Agha said " there is no power to take me to the court since I have the secrets of all Kurdish leaders and I have done nothing comparing with what Kurdish leaders has done against Kurdish People" . Qasm Agha is now enjoying immunity and enjoying his life under the patronage of Masud Barzani in Erbil.
